this makes me so mad. i even guffawed out loud in the office. it sucks because i really do want to help out members of law enforcement–those that endure shitty, sketchy, dangerous tasks the result of which is a sometimes safer neighborhood–but you can see why we have laws that allow you to NOT let cops into your house. it’s ridiculous to think that your refusal to allow entry would have been seen as flagrant and indicting, when–in fact–it would have been the most practical thing to do. arrgh. i would have done the same thing. but i’ve learned a little lesson from reading; thanks for the post, zach!

I saw that on Cities of the Underworld as well, that would suck so much to be drinking then be dropped into one of these things and sold to a damn slave ship. I also heard that if they had to on the boat rides the prisoners would be eaten if they ran out of food.

Bryan is a great example indeed, although mostly this has been inspired by my boss Garrett and watching him over the past few years and the way he treats all the employees. Also semi-inspired by a guy I work with. Actually, I can think of a couple guys I work with/for… but yeah, Bryan definitely helps push that direction also… good call.

Bad news, you are a germ freak. Don’t know if it’s in the genes or if I taught it to you. I know I taught you the bathroom thing and now you have returned the favor as I will never read another airplane magazine! Yukkk! Here is one thing I have going for me because of age and experience, I ALWAYS carry a flat package of hand wipes especially when traveling and put the pull out canister type in the car. I use them in fast food restaurants because of how filthy those places are. Mom will laugh when she reads what I wrote. love, Dad
